Self Closing Double Swing Lid Hanging Waste Bin for a Kitchen

A bin that hangs on a cupboard door travels with that door every time somebody opens it. If its lid does not come back down by itself, what hangs on the door is a shelf full of rubbish.

What Are the Key Features of This Hanging Bin's Self-Closing Lid?

• The lid comes back down on its own: drop something in and it covers itself, which is the only lid behaviour that works when your hands are wet or full.
• It stays shut while the door swings: a door-hung bin moves dozens of times a day, and a self-closing lid is what stops that movement showing everyone the contents.
• It hangs instead of standing: nothing in the corner to shift when the floor gets mopped and nothing for a chair leg to catch.
• 5 L capacity: right for what a cupboard-door bin is actually asked to hold. It takes wrappers, peelings and small scraps between empties, which is less than a full kitchen bin's worth.

Where Can You Use This Cupboard-Door Hanging Bin?

• Hooked over a kitchen cupboard door
• On a cabinet door that gets opened and shut dozens of times a day
• In a kitchen where the floor corner has to stay clear for mopping
• Where a chair leg or a foot would otherwise catch a bin standing on the floor

Why Does This Hanging Bin's Lid Need to Close Itself When the Door Swings?

• A lid that comes back down by itself: the bin swings with the cupboard door all day and stays covered through every one of those moves.
