Pedal Bin 9 L with Removable Inner Bucket, 21 x 22 x 27.5 cm

The bin beside the toilet is the one thing in the bathroom nobody ever washes, and the one thing that most needs washing.

What Are the Key Features of This Hand-Wash-Only Pedal Bin With a Removable Bucket?

• Hand wash only, and built so that is easy: the inner bucket lifts out to the tap, so the dirty half of the bin is the half you can actually reach.
• A wipe is all the shell ever needs: nothing touches the outer body, so cleaning is a bucket rinse rather than a trip to the tap with the whole bin.
• 9 L is sized to be emptied often: two or three days of bathroom waste, short enough that nothing sits around long enough to start smelling.
• A 21 x 22 cm base: it fits the gap between the toilet and the wall, or the space under a desk, which a kitchen bin has never managed.
• 610 g empty: light enough to lift, tip and carry to the kitchen bin one-handed, without putting it down halfway.

Where Can You Use This Pedal Bin?

• The gap between the toilet and the wall
• Under a desk
• Behind a bedroom door
• Beside a changing table
• A guest room

Why Choose Polypropylene Over Metal or Fabric for a Bathroom Bin?

• Cleaning matters most: a bathroom bin that cannot be cleaned properly becomes the smell in the room within a month, whatever the lid is doing.
• The inner bucket lifts out to the tap: the dirty part is the part you can reach, unlike a one-piece bin you carry to the sink and pour water into.
• Polypropylene rather than metal or fabric: painted metal rusts at the base and stains grout permanently; a woven liner absorbs and never recovers.
• 9 L is a bathroom capacity: two or three days of tissue, cotton pads and packaging, so nothing ages in a warm room.
• The pedal is for full hands: open it with a foot when your hands are wet, full, or holding the thing you are about to throw away.

Material & Build

• Plastic: polypropylene. It takes water, bleach and detergent without changing, and it has no seam at the bottom for liquid to sit in.
• Removable inner bucket: lifts out for rinsing and bag changes, so the outer shell only ever needs a wipe.
• Hinged lid with a foot pedal: hands-free opening.
• Origin: Turkey.

Dimensions

• Capacity: 9 L.
• 21 x 22 x 27.5 cm: a 21 by 22 cm base under 27.5 cm of height. That base footprint is what makes it fit where a kitchen bin never has.
