30 L Stainless Steel Swing Lid Trash Can for Kitchen Waste

A bin this size is a kitchen bin, and a kitchen bin gets opened twenty times between breakfast and dinner. The part that gives up first is never the body of it.

What Are the Key Features of This 30 L Bin's Swing Flap with No Foot Plate?

• 30 L: the size that holds a full liner and a whole day of cooking for a family.
• A flap that opens on a knuckle: the hand carrying peelings never has to be clean, and nothing gets lifted off and set down somewhere else first.
• No foot plate at the bottom: the bin can sit flush to a wall or slide into a narrow gap at the end of the units, which a pedal bin cannot do.
• A rim that keeps its shape: metal does not flex when you drag a heavy full liner out, so the next bag still sits flat instead of sliding down inside.
• Measure the gap before ordering: at this capacity the space it needs is the thing to check first.

Where Can You Use This 30 L Stainless Steel Swing Bin?

• On a kitchen floor, standing flush against a wall
• In the gap at the end of a run of units, where a pedal bin will not go
• Beside the fridge
• In an office kitchen
• In the back room of a shop

Why Does This 30 L Kitchen Bin Use a Swing Flap Instead of a Pedal?

• A swing flap on a 30 L kitchen bin: no rod down the back, no return spring and no plastic pivot at floor level waiting for a heel.
• Scratches in plastic keep the smell: metal does not, so an old bin is not still carrying last month's bag.

Details

Material & Build

• Lid: swing flap, top opening. Opened with a knuckle, a forearm or the bag you are already carrying, and it falls shut behind you.
• Shell: stainless steel.

Dimensions

• Capacity: 30 L. It holds a full liner, a day of cooking for a family, boxes and packaging a small bin cannot take. The size is quoted as '30/20/30', a list that repeats a value and cannot be a valid set of sizes, so only the 30 L figure is used.
• Height and footprint: measure the gap beside your fridge, or the width of the space at the end of the counter, before you order.

Colours

• No colour option exists for this bin.
