12 L Stainless Steel Pedal Bin with Odour Sealing Lid, Damper Close

A bin tells you it is full before you look at it. You walk into the bathroom, the smell arrives first, and that is a lid problem.

What Are the Key Features of This 12 L Steel Pedal Bin with an Odour-Sealing Lid?

• Odour-sealing lid: the seal is made at the rim, so what is inside stays inside until you open it.
• The lid finishes its own closing: a damper carries it the last of the way onto the rim, which is what makes the seal work on every press.
• Inner bucket lifts out: carry the bucket to the tap by itself, and the polished shell stays out of contact with anything you threw away.
• Stainless steel, rustproof: no surface that drinks in smell, and nothing to pit in the steam of a daily shower.
• 37 cm tall, 25 cm across: measure the gap beside the pan or under the desk before you order.

Where Can You Use This 12 L Stainless Steel Pedal Bin?

• Beside a toilet pan, where a smell announces itself before you look
• In a kitchen corner
• Under a desk, or beside one
• In a bedroom or a kids' room
• In a hotel room, or on a countertop

Why Does Steel Not Hold Smell the Way a Plastic Bin Does?

• An odour seal built into the lid: smell comes through the gap where a moulded cap rests loosely on the rim.
• The damper is what makes the seal repeatable: it carries the lid home on every press, so it never bounces and sits slightly proud.
• Steel absorbs nothing and is rustproof: a plastic surface keeps the smell after the waste has gone, and this one stands in twice-daily steam.
